Is navy the new neutral? Grey is currently a popular and widely used neutral, transitioning from beige/brown just a few years ago. Now, there is a new neutral surfacing and I couldn’t be happier. Deep blue. Need I say more? This color is being seen a lot in kitchen design, but not on the walls, in the cabinetry!
www.greigedesign.comThis color can be used in a country chic or modern kitchen. Paired with white marble counter tops it is just the right amount of amazing.
These are a few of my favorite deep blues by Benjamin Moore, done best when in a matte finish. Let me know if you have a favorite in the comments below. Enjoy!

Now, I enjoy crafts as much as the next person, but if you are just getting to know your creative, DIY-side, then this is surely one project that you will enjoy.
Here is one that Lauren made using an elastic cord that affixes around a button. So, get crafty and post pictures of your completed cozy in the comments below. I would love to see your variations of this project. Enjoy!

My friend Jaima is a milliner at Ignatious Hats, located in Petersburg Virgina, where they create fantastical hats out of both straw and felt. The hats are trimmed using millinery findings and handmade decorations. Their awesome combination of method, materials, shape and decoration make their hats reminiscent of times past, while still being wearable and contemporary. Check out some of their one-of-a-kind designs below!
If you are in the Southeastern US and love these designs as much as I do you should check out their Shows Schedule and go to see them in person! They currently have a few shows coming up in both Virginia and Florida.
