Never have I thought to classify a clothing style as rustic. Well, until now that is! Let me tell you, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Imagine what you might wear to a summer music festival, or perhaps a picnic at the park. That’s it! – flowy fabrics that move with the wind, warm earth tones, a mixture of textiles, and fun accessories. I like to call it country hipster fashion, but for now let’s refer to it as rustic. 😉
I was excited to have found Rustic Thread, a boutique in Denver, Colorado. Rustic Thread pushes the idea of being comfortable and confident in what you wear, having your attire be a reflection of your personality while not being afraid to try something new. I love that about their apparel. Also, it isn’t just any one style but a combination of many. Take a look!
My wishlist includes the satchel bag and clutch, as well as the poncho. Last year I was given my first poncho as a gift and have since been given another one. I can say that they are so versatile, comfortable, and complementing. Really, though, when I wear them I am always receiving complements!
Hopefully everyone has had a chance to get out during these last few sunny days. My morning drive includes a back road between rows of orange leaf trees. It’s so beautiful. Happy Friday everyone and enjoy the weekend!
